A Tale of Three Janes
“It was the best of times…”
Take a moment and think back to when you were a kid. What are some of your fondest memories as a child? For myself, school comes to mind since I spent the majority of my time there. I loved school for the most part. It was a place to learn, make friendships and to establish a foundation for my future. Even though I didn’t realize it, I was preparing for my entire adult life in just 13 short years.
One part of school that I enjoyed was library day. I remember sitting down for reading circles and listening intently to the story. I also remember being so captivated by certain books that I can still tell you every detail of the story (The Cay and The Night of the Twisters are two of those). Reading has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember and I hope to pass that onto younger generations. My name is Jennifer and I am one of the founders of Three Janes.
The name Three Janes is a spin off of the old Dick and Jane books that were used to teach children to read from the 1930s - 1970s. The three of us have always been passionate about education. Our goal was to start a company that would focus on improving literacy in children. When children learn to read and write effectively and efficiently, their futures will have endless possibilities.
We want to encourage children to never give up on their dreams. We support and encourage literacy with our timeless and trendy products. Some of our products include inspirational short sleeve tees, long sleeve tees and unique necklaces for women and children. We have plans to expand our line soon. You can help us share the importance of literacy when you…Read. Write. Wear.
With every item purchased, one book will be donated to a child. We appreciate you taking the time to get to know Three Janes and we look forward to embarking on this journey with you.
